Computer Audio Upgrade '03

Day 3 - Decision on Amplifier & Conclusion
I've got some pictures of my amplifier on this page, but as it turned out--I'm not going to install it.  Instead, I've chosen to go the route of new tweeters that can handle additional power.  My receiver puts out enough power to my liking, so I just need tweets that can handle the additional power that my woofers can.  Of course, that's a story for another day and that means that Computer Audio Upgrade '03 draws to a close.  Don't worry though!  Computer Audio Upgrade '04 is still planned (covering my tweets and stuff), if it doesn't happen this year.

The box leaves little to be desired, but the amp itself is actually quite pretty once opened up.
Semi-unpacked.  I like to take multi-stage pictures... besides... I planned on having amp installation pictures tonight instead of only amp pics.

The middle is a dark (but amazingly shiny) area that has a grill-like finish to it.  Smooth to the touch.
This picture is the same as above, just with the camera positioned more directly over the amp.

I was going to take pictures of both the ends of the amp to get shots of the connectors and stuff, but the sunlight decided to take focus away and I ended up with a blurry mess.
With the camera pointed away from the sun, you would think I could get a good picture.  Sure enough though, the bright aluminum had other ideas.
